Tabur Hill is located in Taman Bukit Melawati, Gombak, also known locally as Hangus Hill. Hills that form the quartz ridge about 14 km is located in Hulu Gombak Forest Reserve Tambahan 1 and it will be seen from the highway Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road (MRR2). For climbers, who are interested, must be obtained Forest Entry Permit from the District Forest Office of Selangor Tengah (like the address below) with payment of RM5/person. Climbing route is through the village of Klang Gates, located 50 meters from the gate of the Klang Gates Dam, which is at the back of Taman Melawati.
